Quagmire’s Obsession with Louis (Clip Included)

Have you ever wondered why Peter Griffin’s neighbor, the astute, perverted and sexually malicious Quagmire is always so obsessed with Louis, Peter’s wife? For a few reasons actually! One, Quagmire is a total pervert and Louis is hot. Two, the dude cannot for the life of himself understand how Peter came to be with such a beautiful woman like Louis when he is grossly overweight and really stupid. Finally, ever since they were all in high school, Quagmire has wanted Louis but has never been able to truly have her, as she ended up falling in love with Peter.

This is explained in one of the episodes where Death allows Peter to go back in time and see Louis during his adolescence. Leave it to the hopelessly defunct and adjunct Peter, however, to screw everything up and get with a different girl, messing up his chances with Louis. And, what Death does not tell Peter is that anything that he does while he is in the past will affect the outcome when Death returns him to present day. As Peter and Brian come back to their normal time, they realize things are very wrong; Louis is married to Quagmire, and not Peter.

So, as you can see, from this episode, Quagmire has been obsessed with Louis since he was a youth. However, for one reason or another, she decided to stick with Peter and not him. This makes a lot more sense out of the infatuation that Quagmire has with Louis when they fully explain the reasons behind it. It drives him nuts. Causes him to dig out of her garbage can to get hair from her brush, or discarded fingernail clippings. And…well you get the point. But, the clip I have imbedded below, further explains the pervert’s obsession with his best friend’s wife!

This clip, taken from Season Two of Family Guy, shows Louis heading over to Quagmire’s home to get advice because Peter has been acting out of the ordinary and is clearly not himself as of late. Quagmire accidentally takes this as a move that she is making that she wants to have sex with him. Before she knows it, Quagmire presses a button and his entire home transforms into a sex palace. Complete with a bar, a bed, and toys – when Louis reinforces that she needs his advice about Peter’s behavior, Quagmire is quick to press the ‘Abort’ button.
