Reading and Driving – Peter Totals the Car While Reading Comic Books and Driving!

Some key notes here prior to this entry: never read and drive at the same time. And for all of you text messaging goons and lovers out there, this same thought process indeed applies to all of you: don’t read and or text and drive, because as Seth McFarlane—creator of Family Guy—so adamantly expresses in this clip that I will show at the bottom of this blog, reading and driving can generally lead to you totaling your car. So, if you plan on reading or text messaging and driving, perhaps you need a crash course (pun intended) in what the consequences are, or can be, when you do this.

In all reality, I could care less if anybody reads or drives, but the clip I am about to show you all is a classic clip from Family Guy, I believe from season four. Peter is driving to take his wife Louis on a romantic weekend getaway. But, Louis quickly falls asleep and Peter is left by himself and bored for a lengthy car trip. So, he decides to pass the time by reading an Archie comic book while he drives (remember those?).
