Is Stewie Gay or Straight?

Have you ever wondered if the diabolical infant on the show Family Guy is gay or straight? Me too! It is kind of a question that the show cosmetically poises in the mind of the viewers to make them both laugh and wonder, and to offer some more crazy antics of dialogue between the baby and his sometime friend and halftime enemy, Brian, the dog. Frequently the show will make homosexual references to the baby, but never really clarifying anything, or are they?

Is Stewie Gay?
In a more recent episode, where Peter is injected with the gay gene, as part of a plot he has devised to undergo clinical test studies in order to pay off large damages that a brain damaged horse he purchased caused at the racetrack, Peter comes home one afternoon totally gay. After telling his family that he is gay now, Brain calls Stewie out for mumbling something under his breath. When asked what he said, Stewie responds, “I just said, you can keep homosexuality in the bedroom, I am not all in your face about my heterosexuality!” To which Brian responds, “No…you most certainly are not!”

This is just but one example of how often the show pokes fun at Stewie being gay. In another episode, Stewie is seen in drag going on a date, and when he realizes that the date is for Chris, his brother, he disappears. And, there are countless other instances where homosexuality is inflected with Stewie. On the contrary, however, he frequently bodes after girls, like the babysitter, or his friend from acting school, so go figure!

Is Stewie gay? I think so. Bisexual? More than likely! You decide! No matter what, it makes for a hilarious show!

In one of the more recent episodes from the newer, Seventh Season of Family Guy, Stewie is fretting to his mother, Louis, over the fact that she has not cut his banana into slices so that he can more easily ingest it. When she does not respond, as she is caught up in conversation over the dinner table, Stewie grows perturbed. He responds to her lack of attention by telling her that he should shove the banana into his mouth. When he does, he finds out that he frightfully likes having such an oddly shaped object slide up into his mouth. Hilarious clip for your enjoyment is below!
