Top Three Reasons Why Brian the Dog Rocks!
If you love the show Family Guy, then chances are that you already have picked out your favorite character. Whether you love Peter the most, or are fond of Quagmire, or perhaps Cleveland is your pick—or who can’t like the antics of Stewie—my favorite character is Brian the talking dog. So, I thought it would be worthwhile to describe to you all the top three reasons why Brian the dog rocks on so many different levels, and why I believe that he augments the show as a very strong, lead character.
Reason One: He is an Alcoholic with an Attitude
One of the best reasons why Brian rocks is because he is a heavy drinker and smoker with a big time attitude. The best part about Brian is his constantly ongoing banter and onscreen dialogue with Stewie, the evil infant. Like when Stewie beats him up for not paying him on time, or when Brian falls in love with a blonde idiot and Stewie makes fun of him for it!
Reason Two: The Only Talking Dog in the Show
In one episode, Brian and Peter are sitting at the Clam drinking, when Peter realizes that his dog can talk. The best part about Brian is that he goes in and out of his doggy instincts, like chasing his tail, or a ball, and back into an intellectual that drinks and smokes!
Reason Three: Almost has a Degree from Brown – Very Smart!
Almost is not doing. When Brian gets dropped by the New Yorker, as a lead writer, for not having a degree at Brown completed, you can see that he is very smart. However, when he tries to work on his book, all he gets is slack and flack from his family over the fact that he does not even know where to begin writing it!
