Herbert The Old Pedophile! (Messed Up Clip Included!)

There is one character, an all time classic and favorite of mine, that I have not touched base on or barley even written about on this blog; my apologies for all of you who love him and wish to see more posts coming about this dude! I can be talking about, none other than, Herbert, the cheeky old and frail, back bent neighbor of the Griffin’s that is the nastiest pedophilic child molester that the town has ever seen; he makes Quagmire look normal, refined and polite in comparison.

Herbert lives down the street from the Griffins and is always trying to get Chris to come inside and take his clothing off. Chris delivers the newspaper to Herbert on his weekend route, and there is even an episode where Herbert tells him that his tip is in his pocket and all that Chris needs to do is reach down in there and grab it.

Perhaps the funniest part about Herbert is threefold: he is an old, disgusting pedophile. He talks in the gangliest, upper inflected voice that that whistles on the s-words and sounds like an old lady! And, whenever his molestation antics fail to work for him, he always has something mean to say afterwards under his breath. My favorite scene of Herbert is when is babysitting the kids and reads Chris a story about Peter and the Wolf, after which Chris poises this question to him, “Are you a child molester?”

“This is what makes the show so great: they cross all moral boundaries. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Family Guy offends each Sunday, that’s why it rocks so much!”

If you love Hebert as much as I do for his outlandish, illegal and blatantly offensive behavior, then you will very much so enjoy the clip that I have searched far and wide on the internet to imbed below for your viewing pleasures! Herbert is the craziest character in the entire show, and due to the nature and connotation of his antics, being that he is indeed a pedophile hell bent on molesting Chris, Peter’s son—I believe he is the one character that frequently crosses the line for the show when it airs on Fox each Sunday.
