What Happens when Peter Hits a Deer With his Car?

Have you ever pondered why some animals can talk in the show Family Guy and that some other animals are unable to talk? I have always wondered about this, not thinking about it too much. But still…it makes for a great article to discuss the prowess of the show and the demeanor in which they choose what animals have the power of voice!

Why is There no Family Cat?
Did you know that average American family has approximately two and one half pets. Yes that is right. Most people actually own either two dogs, or a cat and a dog, or two cats. In many cases, two dogs and one cat. My point being here with this relatively useless statistic is that I am actually quite surprised that the show Family Guy does not have a cat…much less a talking cat to boot. I think that if they added this character it could easily become a valued and funny medium to add to the candor of the show. They changed things up recently with Bonnie giving birth and Joe’s son dying in Iraq. I think it is high time they added a cat to the mixture.

Stewie Gets Beat Down Hard by an Infant Little Girl

Add Comment

In the newest episode of Family Guy “Stew-Roids” the diabolical baby Stewie gets what is coming to him after harassing the neighbor’s infant baby girl. When Peter watches his kid get the snot beat out of him, he decides its time to get Stewie pumped up. After getting Stewie hooked on steroids and body building, and after sexually assaulting a teenager, the show coyly drops a clip poking fun at the disgraced quarterback, Michael Vick, and also offers a taste of their version of ‘Silence of the Lambs,’ starring Chris Griffin.

Best Three Things About the Newest Family Guy Episode “Stew-Roids”
There are plenty of great laughs to be had from watching the newest episode of Family Guy, “Stew-Roids.” However, I believe that I can easily boil them all down to the top three with no problem. So without ado, here are three things that made this episode as cult classic as it was and is!

Peter Takes it Too Far with a Teenager in Newest Episode to Air

If you caught the most recent episode of Family Guy, Season Seven’s “Stew-Roids” then I am sure there were several points during the airing of it that your jaw literally dropped; mine sure did. Now I totally appreciate this show, and rarely will you hear me knock it, but there were a few distinct points where I feel that they may have crossed the line. Albeit, I am most certain that the ratings never suffered; they never do. However, when seasoned show watchers like me go, “Wow” there is definitely some lawsuit fodder in the works…or so it may seem. Then again, Family Guy is all about crossing the line. So to clarify, I am not moaning. Just once again, I am amazed at how much a major network allows them to get away with.

The One, The Only: Stewie Griffin

Add Comment

Ah yes…the one and the only Stewie Griffin: the mindful and ambiguous, evil little infant that always has some sort of plan that can allow for him to take over the world, and kill his mother. Stewie is a staple to this great show for so many reasons. First and foremost, his onscreen chemistry with Brian the dog is one of the better onscreen duos that you will ever see; even if they are only cartoon characters. His sniveling ways and his intellectual rhetoric are what makes him so likeable, in an evil and promiscuous sort of manner. However, the one great thing about this infant is that he goes in and out from being hampered by the instincts of a child to mad doctor extraordinaire.

Three Things that Are Distinctly Stewie Griffin
There are so many different things that this defunct toddler does that makes you love and hate him, and that makes you laugh. But there are three things that will always be distinctly Stewie Griffin. Let’s have a brief look at them…shall we?

Peter Tries out Tag Body Spray!

Before I get to this clip (which is below at the bottom) I must say that there are many different flashbacks that make this show as great as it is. However, there are some that just simply take the cake. That being said, I had to search far and wide to find the clip for today. I was reminded of it after hanging out with some friends—where quite often this show gets quoted over a few beers. I know…we are total dorks. But, then again, it serves as a great way to think of more interesting posts for all of you loyal readers!

Newer Episode of Family Guy Continues Handicapped Bashing

Add Comment

If you have ever missed some of the classic episodes of Family Guy where they frequently make fun of the handicapped, you can catch all of the great clips here, at Family Guy Talk! For this blog I wish to delve lightly into this reoccurring theme on the show, and see just what lines they cross and stops that they pull out. All in the name of comedy of course…right?

The Handicapped are an Easy Target for Family Guy
If you think about it, especially when thinking about Joe – the cop in a wheelchair from Family Guy – the handicapped are just too easy of a target for the show’s writers. They frequently will cross the line just to garner an easy laugh from their viewers. I have a few friends who are wheelchair bound, and contrary to popular belief, they actually happen to think those are some of the funniest episodes. Sometimes people find healing through comedy I guess.

Family Guy Dashes Everyone (Especially the Handicapped) – Joe Crying

Have you ever wondered why Family Guy is so avid to make fun of the handicapped? Like for a good example, Joe: the wheelchair-bound cop, or even the greased up deaf guy – who makes a cameo in the show every once in a while? Well if you have, there are numerous good reasons for this. Basically, this type of grit comedy relies upon sheer shock value. Without making people’s lips quiver, they wouldn’t be able to get the ratings that they do on a weekly basis. Here is why.

Three Things that Make Family Guy In-Your-Face, Offensive and Hilarious
This show really has learned that by using offensive and brazen comedy, that is always in your face, and comedy that makes your jaw fall open in shock, they can best garner the ratings that they so desire every week. Perhaps this is one of the best reasons as to why the show has always topped the charts for most viewers, and is considered to be one of the most successful comedies since ‘FRIENDS.’

Funniest Clip from Season Seven’s 12th Episode: “420”

Add Comment

As per the norm on this exciting Family Guy Blog, once again I do return to bring you the greatest and the latest clips from the hilarious episodes of the show’s not so distant past. Being an avid fan of the show, I watch each episode several times before writing about them in my blog. And I must say, this episode was one of the worst episodes of Family Guy that have ever watched, coyly dubbed as: 420.

Why it Blew!
Family Guy writers did not even try this time around. A loosely (even for this show) strung plot that both speaks for and against the legalization of marijuana…one that offers few flashbacks and minimal laughs—not to say that the episode did not have it moments, which will be shown to you in the video at the end of this blog. But all in all, it did kinda of blow for Family Guy! Maybe I am being too critical, but seriously, this episode was surefire downer.

Family Guy’s Classical “420” Episode Goes up in Smoke

If you remembered to tune into to Fox for the weekly ‘Animation Domination’ Sunday, then you would have more than likely caught the newest episode of Family Guy, “420.” What will more than likely be one of the final episodes of season seven, this twelfth episode was funny, but also was kind of a letdown at the same time people! This episode offered some classic laughs, but all around seemed like a rushed episode that was merely created to capitalize on the stoner holiday that falls annually on April 20th – fondly called 420 by all stoners—hence the name of this episode.

Does Family Guy Steal from the Simpsons? (Everybody Does!)

The answer to the question that is being stated above is simply put: hell yes! But then again, what show has not borrowed, or could not possible, even if accidentally, take a little bit here and there from one of the longest running shows in the history of TV? The Simpsons are not alone or without faults either. They are well known for taking bits and pieces of their own episodes from other classic TV shows and movies. Hey, it’s like images online, they are meant to be share…right?
