Family Guy: It’s All About “Cool Whip”
If you can never get enough of Family Guy, don’t worry, this blog has got your cravings fully covered! After seeing every single episode far too many times, so many in fact, that I find myself constantly quoting it around my friends, I have realized, that yes indeed…I am too a Family Guy addict! For most people who enjoy watching this show, the quotes and the clips, or the flashbacks, are the best part. Of course, another great part of the show is the onscreen chemistry between two of the most popular characters, Brian the dog and Stewie the infant.
What Would the Show be like Without Brian and Stewie?
Can you imagine what Family Guy would be void of Brian and Stewie? We would only be left with Meg and Louis, and of course, Chris and Peter. How boring would that be? When they are making new episodes of this show, I believe that they must have some sort of trick for creating portions of each particular episode that center around Stewie and Brian, to kind of give us all a taste of that comedy which exists between the dog and the baby that we all are craving. And would you have it any other way? Me either!
Why Brian and Stewie Go Back and Forth
The best part about Stewie and Brian is that they both love and hate each other. Their back and forth canter and banter is what makes a large part of the show enjoyable for viewers. For example, when Stewie mispronounces a word and Brian, the Brown University English Major, corrects him, it is simply put: priceless! The duo trek around the world together. They screw each other over and help each other out. They are a pivotal part of this awesome cartoon!
Hilarious Cool Whip Clip that is Must-See!
To provide you with the best example of Brian and Stewie’s onscreen antics, I will use the clip below to augment my post. In it, Brian and Stewie are sitting on the couch and Stewie asks Brian to pass the Cool Whip so he can put some on his piece of pie—pie that Meg cooked her hair into because she has become obsessed with Brian. But, when Stewie mispronounces Cool Whip, he gets Brian the dog all worked up. Perhaps one of the best examples of why this dynamic duo helps to make the show what it is!
