Peter Tries out Tag Body Spray!

Before I get to this clip (which is below at the bottom) I must say that there are many different flashbacks that make this show as great as it is. However, there are some that just simply take the cake. That being said, I had to search far and wide to find the clip for today. I was reminded of it after hanging out with some friends—where quite often this show gets quoted over a few beers. I know…we are total dorks. But, then again, it serves as a great way to think of more interesting posts for all of you loyal readers!
What’s the Deal with Brian Griffin?
Speaking of Family Guy, why can Brian talk but almost no other animals in the entire show can? Have you ever wondered this? Obviously he has to talk as he is one of the lead characters. But you think that more often than not they would include other talking animals. Like the second dog Peter gets to replace Brian, or the dog that Peter had prior to Brian. At any rate, Brian’s ability to talk is a great addition to the show…even if it doesn’t make any sense. Then again, what is the deal with Stewie?
Family Guy and Pets
Finally, before we head to the clip, it seems that this show loves to include domesticated animals in their foray of satirical offerings. Mayor Adam West uses a cat launcher to fend off a pizza boy. Peter accidentally kills Quagmire’s cat in a newer episode. Stewie kills Brian 2 after he pisses him off in an early episode from Season Seven, and Peter kills his old dog (in a flashback) before he gets Brian. Let’s not forget the retarded horse that Peter kills in another recent episode.
Tag Body Spray and Sick Cats
When Peter Griffin decides that he will flashback, and tries out Tag Body Spray at the local store in the mall, he is amazed to find out how many different old and mostly sick cats that the spray attracts. Within a few moments he is literally engulfed by older cats. He tries to pet them, but they are just old and smelly. When a cat that Peter has by the scruff starts coughing up a hairball it is the last straw for the stout man. After his experiences, Peter decides that Tag Body Spray is definitely not for him. I have imbedded this hilarious clip below for your viewing pleasures. It happens to be one of my favorite clips of this show!
