The Trial: Peter Gets a Proctologist Barred for Doing his Job!

Ah yes, one of my favorite episodes of all time of Family Guy: the episode where Peter Griffin has to see the proctologist (butt doctor) to get his anus examined for colon cancer. Little does he know that they have to jam a finger up there to make sure that the prostrate is in working order and healthy. So, when Peter unsuspectingly removes his outer garments and poses for the doctor, he gets a one-fingered surprise of a lifetime. Throughout the remainder of the episode, Peter is suing the doctor – who was only doing his job – for molesting and raping him. Many other males in the town side with Peter, including the judge, namely because they feel embarrassed about a colonoscopy. This episode clearly demonstrates the common male mentality as it relates to colonoscopies.
Three Reasons Why Peter Griffin is an Idiot!
Ah, the idiocy behind one Peter Griffin. Let me count the ways that he is stupid. Three ways actually…here we go!
1. He frequently can’t remember his own children’s names. When he was naming birds that lived in his beard in a funny episode past, he can’t recall who Meg is so he makes her Jenga Fet from Star Wars!
2. He likes to read comics while driving. Peter totals his car on a vacation trip with Louis when he reads Archie comics while driving!
3. He thinks esoteric is a food. When talking to Louis about the show, “Whose the Boss,” Louis relates that the show is esoteric. Unable to understand the meaning of the word, Peter assumes it means food and corrects his wife for thinking that the show is about food.
I Wonder if Seth MacFarlane Had a Colonoscopy Prior to this Episode?

Peter’s Trial Against the Proctologist Who Checked His Anus!
When Peter is in court suing his former doctor and the court asks him to recall the sequence of events that led up to the alleged rape and molestation, his vivid memories are both jaded and in black and white. Similar to the show, “Twilight Zone,” Peter recalls everything a bit differently. He portrays the doctor to be an evil, sexual menace that is hell bent on molesting his patients. This clip is actually rather hilarious, so I have taken the liberty of posting it below for your enjoyment, and your pure shock!
